Bring an old bed sheet, or, better yet, sew two of them together.

Most hostels provide sheets or rent them for a euro or so. I don’t think a sleep sheet is worth it for most backpackers. Do a search on "sleep sheet" in this forum for a lot of opinions in old posts.
