I have to agree on the overwhelming solo travel bit… I started off my adventures with 2 friends from my study abroad program. And after 3 days, I couldn’t stand traveling with them. (and I’m an easy-going gal too) But I did not want to travel by myself, it scared me to death. I ended up doing just that, though. After crying a bit, I stucked it up and I HAD THE BEST TWO WEEKS!!!!
I grew so much from traveling by myself. And it is sooo true.. you meet a ton of people.. even if you’re not trying to. I would get off at the train station alone and the next minute I was eating dinner with 2 girls from Texas discussing our adventures! It’s wild!
I really suggest it. I am going back next month.. alone. People think I’m crazy.. if they only knew how easy it is and how many people I am going to meet. Ciao! See ya in my travels!
