I have, for sometime, been fascinated with the extraordinarily spectacular Southwest USA. Namely Arizona, New Mexico and Utah. I am also captivated by parts of Nevada, California and Colorado. With reference to Nevada, I am particularly interested in Las Vegas and its vicinity. In California, I am especially fond of the wilderness areas, for example Death Valley, as opposed to the high-flying Hollywood and similar areas. In Colorado, I would really like to visit the SW corner of the city, which makes up one quarter of the four corner region.
I would be most content with spending a month or so next summer (a shorter trip is possible – I am available between June and August) visiting the Southwest USA and some of its amazing amount of towns, national parks and wilderness areas. Camping beneath the stars at night, in nature, and beside a campfire would be a definite feature of the trip. As would hiking into the Grand Canyon, for example to the Havasupai Indian Reservation, and other national parks.
I believe the above trip would be most enjoyable if I were to travel with someone. So, if you are contemplating the same itinerary or if the above sounds exciting, perhaps we could travel together. I am ideally looking to travel with a female, of any age (but able to hire a car as one is unfortunately essential), of any nationality (preferably living close enough to the UK so as we could meet up prior to departure without too many problems), and with similar interests as myself.
A trip to the Southwest USA has the potential to be brilliant.
