St. Mark's Basilica

A striking example of Byzantine Architecture, the Basilica of St. Mark is one of the most interesting structures in Venice. The decorations and mosaics that adorn this space lay testament to the wealth and power Venice once held. This church is hard to miss as it is at the center of the square that bears its name.
