ST Petersburg
Mon, 10/18/2010 - 04:04
I am trying to find cheapish flights to St Petersburg from Northern England.
Does anyone know if it would be cheaper to fly budget to Eastern Europe and then take another flight to St Petersburg.
Ive searched a few and all I can find is overnight flights via amsterdamn/frankfurt.
any help would be very helpful!!

If you could go from GLA or EDI looks like S7 serve LED at least part of the year. Also check Skyscanner.net and Whichbudget.com for low-cost airlines on this route.
I do see Finnair from MAN with durations 7-8 hours each way, including connections at Helsinki, currently showing some November prices at $325 USD return.
This should help you http://www.cheapflig…
Have you looked at flying to Helsinki and then train to St. Petersburg?
Using www.whichbudget.com it looks like there are low fare options from various Eastern European countries to St. Petersburg.
Check Air Baltic — they have decent regular fares and I think they have a sale going on right now.
