I will be studying abroad in Madrid next fall for the entire year, and I am starting to plan seriously for it now. I’ve been to Europe before, but just for 1-week and 3-week periods, so nothing close to 10 months like this, and I’m looking for advice on planning and packing for such a long period of time. ANY information would be appreciated. Also, I’m investigating plane tickets and the lowest quote I’ve found so far is around $700 RT from chicago to Madrid, and that was through CouncilTravel with an ISIC card. Is that the best that I’ll find??
