Summer fares to London/Paris

We are planning a trip to Europe this summer – leaving from Austin (AUS) to London and returning from Paris.  I am open to flying into other airports in the UK, and/or leaving from Brussels.  The trip would be for 2 weeks, starting sometime around June 1 (+/- 2 days).

Any thoughts on how to efficiently look for a decent fare?  The ones I have found from ITA software are in the 1200-1300 USD range.

Start with our new user thread—top of this forum—which will included Farecompare, ITA, and Bookingbuddy. Departing before June 1 might be cheaper.
