Any thoughts on the best summer skiing in the Alps. I will have a car and will be traveling around germany, Austria, Leichenstien, and possible Italy.

I am leaving from louisville and traveling for 15 days
Nuremberg, Regensburg, Ingolstadt, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Innsbruck, Zell am See, Salzberg, Altötting

I have not heard how their winter has been this year, but I know skiing in the Alps has not been great the past couple years. It has been really warm and they have not gotten much snow, so I am not sure where will have snow in the summer now.

If you find out anything good, let us know…

I am leaving from Montreal, Canada with $1600 for 16 days
Frankfurt, Munich, Venice, Florence, Nice, Barcelona, Paris

Right now is really cold in Stockholm (even from Sweden is damn cold), 8°C or something like that and ugly clouds allover. So might be some snow in the small ski resorts they have up north.
