Sunrock Backpackers Resort

This family-owned hostel, located a few kilometers from the town of Kerkyra, sits directly above gorgeous Pelekas Beach.

For 18 Euros, you get transfers from-and-to the port or the bus station, a bed in a 4 or 2 bed dorm room, showers, access to a games room, an outside patio and two complete meals. The meals, made by the family, all come from the family’s organic farm located near the hostel. Breakfast includes a variety of choices; it is served for many hours, which is great if you want to sleep in. The dinner is served at sunset; everyone sits at the family table and eats together. You can also order lunch (if needed…) at a very reasonable price. The hostel has also its own bar (and its own house wine!). This makes a great alternative to the Pink Palace Hostel, which is more of a loud party place. SunRock is a great place to relax and meet new people. At any given time, there are only about 20 guests staying here. The hostel is also equipped with internet, tourist office, book exchange and so on. It is located near hiking trails and different beaches. Worth every penny!
