Super Newbie

So hello ladies
I thought I’d introduce myself and throw myself in here into the wild.
My name is Teresa and I am a 22 year old native New Yorker. I am currently a Journalism major at St John’s University.
All my life I have always wanted to travel, especially travel and write. My once spontaneous spirit has slowed down with the baggage of part time jobs, tuition bills and struggling to live out of mom and dad’s. Don’t get me wrong, I love having my own place, thus the interest in freedom and going after what I want.
So heres the scoop. My passion for travel was once ignited back in High school when I Went on two Europe trips- My first in 2003 to Madrid and Paris, then 2004 down the boot of Italy. Since then, I vowed to travel travel and travel some more!
What I’m saying here is that I want to get myself back in the loop and actually make it happen. For a while, I thought it would be impossible and I’d be stuck in such a rut forever, but I’d like to break free!
I’m one semester away from graduating, but I have financial troubles

I am trying to reorganize my life and make this happen.
My goal is to graduate this May 2009 and travel for a month or two afterwards, to celebrate my freedom
So to all the ladies who could relate or share a few words to anything I’ve said lol, feel free.
Thanks!!!

I understand about financial troubles. I hope you are able to make your May 2009 trip happen.
