I just booked a round trip with LTU.com , thought I would share it with all of you wonderful people. New York JFK to Dusseldorf DUS  June 6 to June 22, 2008 for $421.10 all taxes included, WOW. I also found fares from JFK to Munich and Stuttgart for just over $500.00 for the same time frame, early June to early July. Some days are cheaper than others so play around with the dates. Hope this helps somebody.

Nice find. Thanks for sharing with the forum. $421 all in is nearly as cheap as fares are currently on NYC-Germany; for departure in June, that’s an absolutely brilliant price!

Thanks Don, I have learned a lot reading this forum. I just hope others can make use of this offer before it’s gone. I am absolutely thrilled to find a fare this cheap in June. I just have to get a round trip flight from my home airport (CMH Columbus Ohio) to JFK now, but I should be able to do that with Jet Blue or Delta for about $100.00 to $150.00
