Tampa to Dublin
Sat, 01/20/2007 - 15:34
Greetings from Tampa,
I’m new to the forum and did read Don’s post with all the sites listed and checked them(Thanks Don, those are really helpful!). However, the cheapest flight I’m seeing is still $720 from tampa international to dublin international. Maybe $720 is the best deal possible, but I figured I would still see if anyone on here knows of a cheaper route perhaps. I’m leaving tampa on 3/15/2007(flexible) to fly to dublin international and want to return back to tampa on 3/25/2007(flexible). I could also fly into London and then backtrack to dublin if that would be cheaper. Unfortunately, me nor my wife qualify for the student fares or senior fares. If anyone has any helpful tips or advice I would really appreciate it. Thanks again and to all a great day!

An option that would save you a little is to fly into Manchester and then hop Ryan Air to Dublin. I see $533 TPA-MAN 3/14-3/24, and then the Ryan Air flight would add about $75 per person. The drawback is that it would make for a really long day to arrive in Manchester in the morning and have to wait until the afternoon for the flight to Dublin.
I used www.itasoftware.com and found $671 on Continental using Belfast and Dublin. A day earlier, it found $618 using Shannon, TPA, and St. Petersburg/Clearwater Airport ( airport code PIE).
