TEFL Training Courses
Mon, 07/26/2004 - 15:28
I’m about to take a TEFL course in Rome for a month in October.
Has anyone out there taken a course like this?
How was it?
Have you found work abroad?
Was the course really hard?
Ok, that’s all for now. We’ll see if anyone replies. thanks!

I’m planning on doing the same type of thing in Greece. I’m not sure if you need to take the tefl, at least i don’t think so in greece and i know there are plenty of jobs available there. A good bet would be to do a yahoo search for teaching english in rome. It helped me with greece alot. What i do know is that teachers are highly respected in Europe and i don’t think finding a job would be too difficult. Sorry i don’t know more than that.

There’s a TEFL course in Rome? Wow. I’ll be taking Italian at school before going to Europe, so that might be better than the one I’ve found in Prague. Do you have a link or anything?
By the way, does anyone know how good this one is? http://www.teflworld…
Hi-
Actually I’ve heard of the program in Prague. It’s quite well known. But I’d rather take the class in Italy, so I searched on the www.goabroad.com website and found links to schools in Italy. This is the program/school I’ve signed up with: http://www.teflintl….
So, after you study Italian, you’re thinking of learning to teach English? Is that the scoop?
Let me know how you make out.
Cheers,
Maria
