Sat, 03/30/2013 - 07:20
Can anyone advise which online or best site to get broadway shows today and the coming week for theatre shows in London?
I am specifically interested in shows which is suitable for children less than 8 and less.
The Lion King
Thriller-Live is my ideal choice,
Please advice
I am leaving from US and traveling for 11 days

No tickets available for today March 30th, 2013.
There used to be a physical location next to the National Museum at Trafalgar or behind Leicester Square, any idea where it has moved to?
Half off or cancellation tickets?

Thank you all, the TKTs guy was kind of rude to me so i opted out.
Saw Thriller-Live directly purchasing it at the theatre, inspite of all the negative comments on the show over the net, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
However, in all fairness, buying tickets from TKTs booth is extremely practical and reasonable.
For readers at eurotrip, it should be noted that some of the theaters have offers such as ALL YOU CAN PAY days so that makes it extremely beneficial for cash constrained travellers.
At the moment, I know a show called
GIBRALTER has whatever you can pay Tuesday evening shows till the end of May-Jun.
Most of the tickets at TKTs are 50% off and a couple of them are 60 off.

That’s disappointing — what was he rude about? They also have a TKTS booth here in New York and it works brilliantly, but I think that London shows tend to be much cheaper than New York productions.

I am not even sure why he was rude. In fact all we asked is if there was any spares for Lion King or Thriller Live. He said none but then my wife asked him as to what are the show tickets they had which was suitable to take a 7 year old. i guess I should have done my own research before I approached him, isn’t it!!!
Not sure if it is cheaper in NY or in UK. Decent tickets in kind of priced in the range of 62-68 GBP which have an unrestricted view. However, the balcony have tickets at 35-42 GBP but if there is any platforms quite above the stage then it makes it difficult to see.
However, the other plays have substantially cheaper tickets than NY. Wonder why none of the readers here in Eurotrip think of going to attend the theatre nor ever start a thread.
