A Tip for London's West End theatre fans
Mon, 03/28/2005 - 09:51
At my first visit to London almost 2 years ago, I wanted check out the famous London Theater scene. So Like every other tourist on a tight budget I waited in line at the TKTS. What can I say, I spent almost 4 hours in line just to find out that the show was sold out
This time around I did a little bit of research and find out http://www.broadwaybox.com/londonAnd got 2 tickets for Chitty Chitty Bang Bang well in advanced for almost half the price
. The seats where good and the show was great! There’s a special feel to London theater that you can’t find in other places.
So First of all the next time your visiting London go ahead and catch a show, and if your thinking about saving some $$$ use the net to save not only $$$ but also some time.
Have a good one
John

I can’t belive you waited in line for 4 hours, the only tickets you are liable to get at the half price ticket booth, are the less popular shows, so as you mentioned, I would try and book before you get to London, gives you more time for sightseeing
spammer! what rubbish…if you get to the tkts booth early enough, you’ll be fine.
