I am going to visit my friend in South Korea sometime before fall 2004 (when she says she will go to grad school in Australia). She is a Korean-American (mother is Korean) who is working as a reporter over there. Anyway, I just had a few questions for those who had been there (yes I know I could ask her, but I figured I’d ask here too):
1) What is the best time of the year to go?
2) Should I spring for first class on the plane or does the flight really just suck either way?
Huh, I guess those are the only questions I have. She knows more than enough places to take me and show me (she is out travelling the region constantly). Any additional tips or advice would be appreciated…I am familiar with Korean culture from my friends (being a military brat
and when my father lived there for a year and sent us letters and pictures and called us all the time about it.
Thanks for everyone’s help!
