Toronto to Barcelona RT
Thu, 02/15/2007 - 16:14
Hello everyone. Sorry if this request is too specific, but I am planning to travel to Barcelona from Toronto, Canada (return) in the last week of April 2007 and not sure what is a “reasonable” fare. Also, if anyone knows any good website (those cheap airfare sites are only for U.S. I think) for flying out of Canadian cities (I only know expedia.ca and aircanada and they were not cheap), I would really appreciate if you could share. Thanks in advance.

You probably won’t get a cheap fare to Barcelona. Your best hope is to look for the cheapest fare possible, and then find a way by budget flights to Barcelona, allowing plenty of time for misconnects. This won’t work if your schedule is tight. Is this possible for you?
Try:

Also consider flying from Buffalo or Detroit.
For intra-Europe flights, try http://www.whichbudget.com .
I used ITA’s month search (see sticky post), and I guessed your stay about 1 week. $766 USD roundtrip on Alitalia via Milan. Or, from BUF, it’s only $613 USD roundtrip (interestingly to me, only $500 to MAD). Alternatively, $477 to London Gatwick; look for low-cost flight hops between Gatwick and BCN with www.whichbudget.com
