Im backpacking around europe and i wanted to see a stage of the tour de france. On my way back from the running of the bulls i wanted to see the 6th stage of the tour de france that goes from Montargis to Gueugnon. Ill have the global eurail pass, but what are suggestions for getting from madrid to Gueugnon? will my eurail pass be good and get me there? once i get there how hard is it to get to the race? Ive never been to the tour de france, but that seemed like the best day for me to go to on the way back through france. Ill try to get on the earliest train i can to get back to Gueugnon, because im not sure what time the race will be ending there. if you have any advice please let me know.
