Tours or Nantes?
Mon, 04/30/2012 - 13:32
I’m thinking of spending a day or two in the Loire Valley, and I’m stuck between Tours and Nantes, which is preferred and how long should I stay there?
I am leaving from Toronto with $12000 for 105 days
Edinburgh, Madrid, London, Segovia, Santiago de Compostela, Toledo, Córdoba, Seville, Granada, Barcelona, Lyon, Nice, Paris, Bruges, Brussels, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, Berlin, Prague, Kutná Hora, Vienna, Salzburg, Munich, Füssen, Venice, Milan, Pisa, Florence, Siena, Rome, Pompei, Naples, Dubrovnik, Split, Zagreb, Budapest, Hunedoara, Sighişoara, Bucharest, Sofia, Plovdiv, Istanbul, Selçuk

Between those two, Nantes, totally. But it’s not in the Loire Valley.
You might have been confused because Nantes is on the Loire River.
Whoops, my mistake. Thanks!

We spent two days there, and probably would have stayed one more, but had to leave.
If you go, be sure to see the Machines on the Isle of Nantes, and take the navibus across the river to Trentemoult, which is a colorful artists’ colony.
I will, thanks!
