i’m traveling with 2 other friends in the mediterranean countries.we are at the age of 20.our trip includes 5 places in italy,3 places in southern france,spain and portugal.we checked out the eurail pass for 4 countries but we can use it for about 5 days within a month or sth.so it’s not suitable for us.any ideas???

Check http://www.railsaver.com/. Depending which locations, a mix of point-to-point tickets + some type of pass might be best for your situation.

I’m not sure I understand your question. An 8 day select pass for 4 countries should cover this. As Don suggests, depending on your specific itinerary, a less comprehensive pass (fewer days or fewer countries) and some point to point train tickets, cheap flights or even a bus or ferry may be cheaper. Railsaver or the trip planner will help you figure it out.
