Has anyone ever done this trip before? I’m considering doing it with Sundowners.
It starts in Shanghai and goes through many places – some of which are Xian, Beijing, Ulaanbaatar, Irkutsk, Moscow, St. Petersburg and ends in Helsinki.
I love the itinerary, but was hoping for some advice or comments from people who have either done this specific tour, or else, people who have been to any or all of these places.
I’m not particularly keen on tours on the whole. I much prefer to travel independently, but I feel this would be an exception, as I would feel much more out of my depths in Russia than I would in Western and some parts of Eastern Europe.
I’ve added the link in case you want to check it out.

Hope to get some advice.
Thanks guys,
Soph
