Just wanting to know what is generally the best way to get around Scotland.

I plan on going to:

Edinburgh (fly to from Melb via London)
Glasgow (train or bus from Edinburgh)
Oban
Barra
St Andrews
Aberdeen
Inverness
Kirkwall (Ferry)
Lerwick(Ferry)

Wanting to know which would be the best companies to go through to get cheap prices for the short trips. Willing to pay a bit more for longer trips. Smile

I am leaving from Australia with $5000 for 26 days
Leighton Buzzard, Bucharest, Deva, Sighişoara, Braşov, Belgrade, Novi Sad, Banja Luka, Mostar, Sarajevo, Neum, Split, London

Megabus have some routes in Scotland. MoneySavingExpert might also have some tips.
