Hi,
Would anyone be able to help me figure out the cheapest way to get to Europe from Hawaii? I would like to go either in the spring or fall for a about 6 weeks all over europe. I know fares from the east coast are cheap to find but any recommendations for the west coast? And what are some of the best cities to fly into?

Try the strategies in our "New users…", and "50 Airfare booking engines…" threads. I have noticed more really good fares from eastern USA to Hawaii this year (under $500 rt), so you might be able to find a good routing from Hawii to Europe just with Continental, Delta, Northwest, American, etc.

Many US airports with nonstop service to Hawaii also have nonstop service to Europe. Las Vegas, Phoenix, San Francisco, LAX, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas… so try those as well as eastern USA cities. It might end up cheaper via a western USA city.

Two tickets could be cheaper than one (1st ticket Hawaii-mainland roundtrip; 2nd ticket mainland-Europe roundtrip). Just leave plenty of time to connect—4+ hours or more, in case a flight is late. Booking separately means that airline B does not have to accomodate you if Airline A got you to your connecting city too late.
