Ok- so I am not sure if this is the right place to post this- but it seems the most fitting.

Do you need travelers insurance for a 5-week trip to Europe? According to all of the guidebooks it is necessary, but I just want to check. Also, if you do need it, where is the best place to get it (STA?)?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
