I’m beginning to plan my eurotrip for the summer of 09 and am struggling with the end of our trip! So we are starting in Barcelona and making our way via railpasses to the Amalfi coast in Italy. From there we want to take a ferry to Greece, and have 7 nights in Greece. This is where it gets tricky! We want to go to Corfu and Mykonos and end in Athens. Does anyone know if it is possible to get from Corfu to Mykonos to Athens in a weeks time without being super rushed? And without flying (all boats/ferry trips) Any help here would be greatly appreciated!!!

I am traveling for 37 days
Barcelona, La Rochelle, Crozon, Paris, Geneva, Venice, Rome, Amalfi

This would be rushed. The best bet would probably be to split up your time in Athens — a day or 1/2 day between Corfu and Mykonos and 1 day after returning from Mykonos. This is one of hundreds of travel agencies that sell ferry tickets. http://www.greekferr… You should be able to figure out how the ferry schedules will work for this trip.

What kind of railpass? I’m not sure that any railpass makes sense for this trip. Further, while I much prefer the train to flying, some cheap flights would make this trip a lot easier.

We are planning on using the the Eurail pass for 5 countries, Spain, France, Switzerland, Italy and Greece.
And your advice makes a lot of sense, thank you! We would be willing to book cheap flights but right now none of them are all that cheap compared to the eurail price..
