My friend and i are going to be traveling from Italy to Greece but don’t know the best and cheap way to get to Greece. We do have a eurorail pass and that has a ferry boat we can take for free but it takes a whole day which we’re not interested in. So we are looking for cheap flights.

Most of the ferries are overnight, so you don’t necessarily “lose” any more time than the 5+ hours (with check-in time, security time and getting between the city and the airports) that it takes to fly.
