Traveling to Stavanger in August

I totally missed out on a deal through SAS that would have saved me a ton of money, but tickets had to be purchased B/4 May 14th. Any other awesome deals out there anybody know of. Chicago to Stavanger?
If you can wait until the 20th or later to depart, I see a significant pricing drop—like $200 or more cheaper. Departure 21st with 1 week stay is $758 on United/Lufthansa/United, according to ITAsoftware.com. If your dates are set, try them through www.bookingbuddy.com too.

I have not set a time yet. I’m just eyeballing the fall and waiting for the good deal which what you offered up sounds like it if only I could fly into Stavanger.
I’m confused. Your message title says "Traveling to Stavanger in August." So you’re really not interested in Stavanger, or travel in August then?
NO, right now my plans are to fly into Stavanger because I’m hooking up with friends there and then going to a smaller town outside of there about minutes out. But, it doesn’t HAVE to be in August. I guess I could go in September if it’s cheaper. I just don’t want to wait past the fall months.
