I have started to take a look at some traveller’s insurance. I am travelling next year through around six different countries (France, Italy, Switzerland, Germany, etc.) for between 30-45 days. I feel that, although anything is possible, I really cannot imagine what could happen that the traveller’s insurance would really cover. So here’s my question: is purchasing insurance absolutely necessary? And if you believe so do you have any personal experiences where it proved helpful? It seems a little pricey, so also if you have suggestions on where to purchase, that would be great.
