I am planning to travel in Europe in February 2007. I have been to England before so I will like to visit other countries in the UK. I will fly into London then plan to visit other countries there-on. I will meet my sister in England then we will travel together. Paris is a first choice as it is only 2 1/2 hours drive. I will also love to go to Ireland and Scottland.

Any idea of a pass that will allow us to travel freely, where to stay and places to visit, great food etc. We are not party goers, but love fine dining, movies, theatre and scenery.

For train, look into a Britrail or Britrail plus Ireland (includes ferry between) pass. There are some "off peak" seasonal offers available right now. www.railpass.com or "buy a railpass" at the top of this page are a couple of the numerous places you can buy railpasses. The Britrail pass will provide a discount on the Eurostar ticket to Paris which may be a good deal if you don’t qualify for a youth ticket. I don’t think the discount applies on the trains where you take your car, though.

Bus is also a good way to get around UK. National Express is one bus company. http://www.nationale…

You can also look for bus passes for Ireland http://www.buseirean…
