im going on a 2 month backpack for june and july, and suggestions as to a specific pack or brands that I should get. As well, im curious as to what size pack is good for this kind of trip. and one more thing, are there certain types of shoes that are used for these sort of trips? if so what aspects of the shoe are important and what brands are proven to be good. Thanks for any help

Again, please look around/search first. Your questions have been asked before (plus, we know nothing about you!).
k, i did read the other posts…and i am six feet 2 inches, 160 pounds.
The type of pack you need can depend on if you are planning on doing some camping on your trip or not. Where you are taller than the average person it is definately suggested that you try the packs on before buying. you may end up with a larger pack just because you won’t be able to get a smaller size one that can be adjusted to fit comfortably. and the duration of your trip really has no bearing on what size pack you eventually get as you aren’t packing any more stuff for 2 months than you would be for a 1 or 2 week trip.
I’m tall myself at six feet and use the ASolo Navigator 70 http://www.infinity-… and it has more than enough space. Its all a matter of finding something you like and is comfortable to wear.
