This is probably a stupid question, but I want to take a train from Madrid to Paris, but there is no direct route. What is the best way?

I think the Elipsos train hotel is the best way if price is not a consideration. And even if price is a consideration, it is not terribly expensive if you have a railpass. Otherwise, I do not know the correct route.

Best way is to look at the schedules on the German rail site. It shows the direct trains and those with the fewest and easiest (usually just step across the platform) connections.

Madrid to Paris is probably best done on a overnight train or by air. Look for a cheap flight.
