Unfortunate weather
City: Barcelona, Spain

I have been anticipating my time in Barcelona my whole trip, now I am here and the weather is miserible. I spent most of the day walking around and seeing the sites, but it was really hard to enjoy it. It has been pissing rain and freezing cold the last two days.
The one saving grace is that the hostel I am stating at, Kabul, has a pretty bumpin social scene. You can’t really fail with a happy hour of 2 liters of beer for 3 euros. That’s a good way to get everyone loosened up a bit, it’s like nitro for a party scene.
Even with it’s rocking social scene, Kabul has some draw backs. You only get 20 minutes of free Internet per day, which is no where near enough given how central it is to trip planning. The included dinner always runs out before everyone is fed. It’s tough to complain about that though because it is free. If you have electronic devices, they are difficult to get charged because all of the power plugs are in one place and must be watched at all times.
Other than a few inconveniences, this hostel is pretty sweet if you are a social person.
Hopefully the weather will turn around…
