The food is excellent in Uruguay, there is also a place called punta de leste, which is where all the rich people from Argentina and Brazil go and holiday its very nice. the first soccer world cup was held and won by Uruguay, at the "estadio centenario". the culture is excellent, it is very cheap to visit, Uruguay also holds its own carnivale, the music is excellent, there is gauchos (cowboys). alcohol is so,so cheap. go and see for yourself.

I’ve been, though only briefly. The nicest people on my trip to S. America (Argentina, Uruguay, Chile) were Uruguayans.
