Venice: Help with my 2 day itinerary.
Sat, 04/21/2012 - 22:26
Here are the projected stops. Can you give advice on the order we should see them to help with efficiency. We would rather not backtrack to save time. If there are some must see sites not listed below, please let me know! We will be there for 3 days, so feel free to mention which things should be done in the morning, afternoon, and night. I’m guessing we won’t be able to do everything on the list so please be realistic and help us choose which ones to see. We will be there Tuesday – Wednesday. Thanks!
Gondala Ride
Piazza San Marco
Palazzo Ducale
St Mary of the Friars (Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari)
Rialto Bridge & Market
Grand Canal
Cicchetterias
Basilica di San Marco
Boutique de Gelato
I am leaving from Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA and traveling for 13 days
London, Paris, Salzburg, Venice, Rome, Prague

Personally I think two days is enough for Venice, but that’s just me.
I would get to San Marco as early as possible.
Also, I did not get that excited over the Palazzo Ducale. We did enjoy St Mary of the Friars.
And we did do a gondola ride, to save money we did it earlier in the evening rather than sunset.
