I need to make a round trip from Vienna to Gerona during the dates of 19th-29th of June. I was wondering if anyone traveled by train to Barcelona or Gerona from Vienna. When I checked at the station, they said that the only way to get there is through Zurich (I have a Schengen visa so that doesn’t work). I am wondering if this is true? As a result I started looking at airtravel, but would still like to know if there is another cheap route by train? Thanks.
