Visiting Latvia Need Help!!
Tue, 07/07/2009 - 00:59
We are travelling to Europe for 3 months in November and want to visit Latvia. As we backpack and use a Eurail pass, we need help in finding the best and cheapest way of getting there, as our Eurail pass does not cover most Eastern European countries.
We will be getting there by ferry from Stockholm as we get a 50% discount. Getting from Latvia back to a country where Eurail is accepted is our problem.
We would greatly accept any advise that can be given to us.
I am leaving from Brisbane Australia with $12000 for 61 days

Thank you for your reply, it is appreciated. Will check out these sites as you suggested and will let you know how we go.
It is very difficult to find any info, as most people have not visited Latvia, so on our return we should have a wealth of info to share.
Cheers
Gunar & Vicki
