weather and packing
Fri, 01/19/2007 - 18:33
Ok so I’m going to England in June this year to check out glastonbury June 22-24
But Leaving canada beginning of June…and ending off my trip to do glastonbury. ( just because you can get real dirty after this haha)
My questions
I’ll be in Holland, germany, France and then england last:
Whats the weather like in these countries in June? Is it all the same? Its hard to pack not knowing what weather is going to be
Lastly…is it even worth it for me to bring Jeans at all during this time?
Thanks everyone
cheers
You will probably have warm and sunny weather. However, you can’t count on it. It can be damp and rainiy, making it downright chilly, almost anywhere in Europe, even in the middle of summer — I nearly froze in Paris one July. Pack a light-weight water repelent jacket. It might be uncomfortabley hot, but it’s entirely possible that it won’t be “shorts weather” at all. In any city shorts will mark you as a tourist. I’d plan on lightweight pants for the majority of the time. Take shorts if you’re going to the Riviera or other beach destination or planning on serious hiking — a pair of shorts doesn’t take much room. Take jeans only if you routinely wear them at home —even in warm weather
Thanks lady. This is my first trip over seas….so I just want to make sure. Your tips will help me muchly !!
cheers
