west coast to germany
Thu, 03/01/2007 - 20:57
hello!
i am trying to find a cheap flight as soon as possible to germany. i was hoping to fly into frankfurt, germany, but am willing to come into another airport if it will save me some money. i want to go anytime in august and return about two weeks after that (the days are flexible). ideally, i would depart from seattle or portland, but am willing to travel anywhere in between or possibly to vancouver.
can anybody help me???
i have been searching for days and have not been able to find anything below 1000 USD.

Try LTU.com out of LAX or Vegas… Great fares
my ticket from San Antonia to Frankfurt cost 630 US roundtrip. bought on expedia
Try all of the tips in our new user thread at the top of this forum, and also check Seattle-based airfare consolidator www.travelteam.com which often have good deals from PacNW to Europe.
The earlier tip on booking thru LTU.com is a good one. However, you will generally NOT find lower fares on most other airlines into German airports other than Frankfurt(FRA) Int’l. If the LTU fare is less, you will likely go thru their main hub – Dusseldorf(DUS)…
