What to do in Ireland?

I’m looking for advise on what to see around the places we are going to in Ireland.
Our itinerary:
Dublin
Galway
Dingle
Killarney
Cork
Waterford
Portlaoise

1 night in each place and our last 2 nights with a friend in Laytown.
Any suggestions & recommendations of “sights”, events, happenings and “not to be missed” will be appreciated.

I am leaving from South Africa and traveling for 10 days
Dublin, Galway, Dingle, Killarney, Cork, Waterford, Portlaoise, Laytown
