I read on a couple posts here that some folks have used ITA to search for fares.

I’m looking for roundtrip air from SFO to Madrid or preferably Valencia between 3/15 and 3/31 and the best fare I can find is $1366 for two.

augustin25 posted back on January 27 that he found fares from LAX to MAD for $390 including taxes. I was hoping to see if those fares still existed.

If anyone could direct me on how to find and/or use ITA, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks all!

Those fares seem to have disappeared, but stay vigilant and you can find something better than what you’ve found so far. ITA shows $577 per person for those dates on American for SFO-MAD. I also see $516 per person on Northwest out of San Jose.

Good catch, augustin. ITA also found 526 from Oakland. This, and 516 from SJC, are excellent for March roundtrip to Spain.
