getting lost and not caring

I like downtown luxury hotels, Best hotels in Paris, and discount hotels in London. You don’t happen to know where I could book some hotels like this, do you?

As for what makes me happy when I travel:
If I am with someone, I enjoy the shared experience.
Good food, good wine, history, beauty, the attempt to speak another language.
If I am alone, I like doing whatever I want when I want to do it.

It is just something that you develope as you mature. It happens somewhere around age 40 when you don’t care any more. So your doing ok, if it bothers you I guess you just have to start maturing faster. Jump in a bag of apples.

I typically travel solo and on Buses or Trains (2nd Class, if available). Once, on a Talgo Tren from Madrid to Galicia, I was seated across from a wine merchant (a Commercial Traveler). I guess I was drinking some wine with my ‘brown bag’ lunch that I had brought with me. As we traveled West from Ourense, the Wine Merchant told me about the wines of the Minho Valley: first the Ribeiro, then the Albariño and finally the Rosál (near la Guardia). That’s the sort of thing I like when I travel: interacting with fellow travelers; exchanging information; maybe making friends. Of course, knowing the language (or a common language) helps.

Eddie do you stay in touch with all those traveling friends after that?
