I have looked through all the previous posts and haven’t found the answer to my questions, so here they are and hopefully some of you can help me out.
1) For one month, I know that some people can travel on a daypack alone, but this is my first trip to Europe, and I am a girl who tends to overpack (though I plan to try my best not to). What size pack for someone who is 5’4" 120 lbs. I want enough room but dont want to be keeling over in pain either. Any suggestions on the ideal size of a pack for 1 month from a another female traveler? I’m looking into the Lowe Alpine Netherland 70 and the Lowe Alpine Contour Classic. My concern is they are both top loading-how bad of a thing is that?
2) I know a lot of packs come with detachable daypacks, and I was looking at the Jansport Mozambique but is that necessarily good? I feel as though it is unsafe since your most imporant things are in your daypack and if it is attachable, someone could take it without you feeling a thing..am I paranoid, or is it better to just buy a separate daypack and put it in my travelpack?
thanks..
