What types of clothes to wear?
Thu, 06/01/2006 - 14:21
I am going to be studying in Paris for about a month and I wanted to know what types of clothes, colors, accessories, shoes, etc. to wear to class and then also to sightsee and for nightlife. I am having a hard time figuring out what to pack, could someone please help me? Thanks!

Just wear what you normally wear…it’ll be all good.
Yeah. Be yourself. Everyone’s going to know you’re not originally Parisian anyway. Also, another fun thing to do is pack very light on clothes and then buy them when you get there. That way you can slowly discover and transform your Paris wardrobe!
You have two choices:
1. Listen to Suzanne
2. Go 100% punk or gothic: hair, makeup, piercings, and clothes, no exceptions.

HAHAHA!
jeans
everyone wears jeans
i was watching the people…locals and rourists alike
and comfortable daggy shoes…i wore runners everywhere..i did wear black moccasins in vienna and prague but comfort is the only way to go ..sore feet will put u in a bad mood and cut short ur hours of touring..trust me cos my guy had trouble with his walking shoes and we had to stop much sooner than i expected.. i could have gone on and on
i didnt wear accessories because i had too much round my neck in june/./a pashmina or a raincoat half the time so no need to accessorise
i didnt wear a single belt cos i had my money belt
but for u ..take a couple of pretty belts and a light colourful pashmina will get u thru
