Where abouts is the 100 Club? I think I’d fear for my safety around that many ruckus Aussies and Kiwis. Just booked flights to Salzburg… hope it’s not too much of a nightmare getting between the cities!

Gettin between cities is very easy. I think the train funs every hour. I was on that train a few weeks ago and I thin it was about 1 hour 20 mins. I was based in Munich and we to Salzburg for the day.

There is a pass you can get called the Bayern ticket that is good for like 5 people to travel together for 30 euros or something like that it has been a few years. But it is only on certain trains every other hour. And it is the slow stop everywhere train but you cant beat the price!

I was definately there in 2001 (in body anyways).

I remember having a few quiet beers with Aussie-Ange and luv beers (among others), at a bar a couple of blocks away from Oktoberfest.

I will be at the Hotel Senefelder for three nights, then staying at my friends place (dopplezimmer above the pub) – at Schwanthaler str. 88 (literally about 150 steps from the fest entrance!) – for one night… We will wind-up at the Hotel Excelsior, just off Bayer strasse, and only steps from the Hbf – the last two nights. I will give Chris & Ange & Grin my cell number, as soon as I get it…

Trying to secure a job in either Dusseldorf or Regensburg before i book Oktoberfest. I have a couple job interviews next week so hopefully in the near future i would have some dates sorted out.

I have a friend living in Munich so accomodation is not a problem.

Sounds good sir. IMHO… Regensburg would be fantastic! Only an hour ride to Munchen, and it is a very nice town…

Jesus I can barely remember last year! Every year I have to go though my pics to remember what everyone looks like.
