where in europe would you go?!
Sun, 04/21/2013 - 19:07
I have four weeks to travel and am looking for advice from more seasoned travelers! I’ve been to most of the big cities such as paris (which i adore) venice, rome, barcelona, stockholm & Nice. I am hoping to have more of a outdoors trip, filled with hikes, bikes and adventure! I’m really interested in Norway and Sweden but I have a final destination of Mallorca, Spain ( where I will be for several months). I’d also like to spend a good week in france but want some good spots to see other then the usual city spots in paris since I’ve been there quite a few times.
I’m also looking for a 2 weeks itinerary, good luck with that !
Rome, Florence, Pisa, Cinque Terre, Venice, Nice
Athens, Santorini, Mýkonos, Kusadasi, Pamukkale, Göreme, Istanbul
Paris, Prague, Budapest, Barcelona
London, Dublin, Amsterdam
you’re picking a lot of cities that are sprawled throughout europe. I would choose one region: South, East or North. Remember, the south and east are going to be cheaper while the north will be much more expensive. Regardless, I would skip Nice.
Maybe Spain, France and Italy? That is definitely doable.
Reykjavik, London, Lille, Berlin, Kraków, Lviv, Istanbul, Selçuk, Pamukkale, Kızkalesi, Göreme, Kars, Bat'umi, Akhalts'ikhe, Tbilisi, Telavi, Istanbul

I would go somewhere in spain as well, Barcelona is AMAZING for a weekend.. or valencia but Valencia would be harder to do in two days..
But seriously in four weeks I’d allocate it like this:-
London:- 1 week
Amsterdam & Paris:- 1 Week
Venice & Florence:- 1week
And in Rome 1 Week.

Hello Joanna
Have you been to Georgia?
I would like to recommend you to go to Georgia. You will meet totally different culture, mix of European and Caucasian culture.
A lot of beautiful places, mountains, lakes, rivers etc.
So if you decide I would recommend to use Georgian Tour Agency, link removed by moderator
Im looking forward to a city trip through western europe, planning is not finished yet. But I will definitly travel to Germany, where i’ll visit Berlin for 1/2 Days staying in a hostel or similiar accomodation, and Dresden for 7-10 Days in a relatively high-priced hotel. A friend of mine suggested this: http://www.buelow-pa…
The Netherlands are also on my list, especially Amsterdam or Groningen, but up to know i couldn’t find a suitable accomodation. (I’ll be thankfull for any advice!)
Majorca, for relaxing and magic holidays;the whole island is an attraction with its astonishing beaches!
Barcelona;a cultural paradise!both modern and classical city,It looks like a collection of many different cities. And the French Riviera is mainly between Nice and Monaco. It’s very nice too, but during the summer break it’s overcrowded.

Go to the seaside in Romania, there is a place where the Danube meets the sea, fabulous and really wild place.

I’d go to Scandinavia – Sweden, Norway, may be even Iceland. I’m in love with northern nature; it’s so pure and strict.
Life is beautiful. Enjoy the ride
