Hi all. A recent breakup of many years has given me the travel itch. I’ll probably do it during the winter holidays (need time to save $).

Any suggestions? Where to go, what to do… I know some countries practically shut down during Christmas time, so I’d like to know which those are so I can avoid it. For example, I went to Århus, Denmark for one Christmas, and the whole town closed for 4 days. Those of us that don’t have families out there didn’t have much to do.

So, any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. BTW-I’m from New York City…
