It’s Saturday night and I’m home in wonderful Cleveland, Ohio (NOT!) and I NEED to get out of here. So I started thinking where it was that I might go to that I haven’t been before. Two places came to mind. The Grand Canyon and Boston, Mass. I’d only be able to get away for a long weekend (like Fri-Sun), and I’m wondering what might be a more doable trip. Boston seems simpler – I hop a plan for Boston (Continental has a direct flight there fro ~200$), find a hotel for a couple of nights, and just sort of wander the city. Do I need to rent a car? The Grand Canyon seems to involve a lot more driving, but it’s supposed to be really pretty country. I’m sort of torn, and considering I haven’t really researched either trip… I’m soliciting opinions.
