Where is Paris Nightlife?
Mon, 01/24/2011 - 16:00
I’m trying to book my hostels for my two week trip in Paris and I was wondering where I should book it since I want to be near the nightlife for people in their 20s.
Something like “The Village” (NYC) of Paris?
I am leaving from JFK with $1500 for 24 days
The St. Germain area is very cool with great bars, nightlife atmosphere and places to eat. If you looking for nightclubs, Oberkompf is probably a better district for you.
Reykjavik, London, Lille, Berlin, Kraków, Lviv, Istanbul, Selçuk, Pamukkale, Kızkalesi, Göreme, Kars, Bat'umi, Akhalts'ikhe, Tbilisi, Telavi, Istanbul

Rick Steves describes the Marais neighborhood (in the 4th along the right bank from Pompidou center to Bastille) as “a more Soho/Greenwich Village locale.” Many of the buildings in the area are medieval or at least pre-revolution. There are great places to eat and some less-visited, though still worthwhile (Picasso museum, the Bastille, Pompidou Center, Jewish art and history museum) attractions in the area.
as mim said I would also recommend you Oberkompf
