although i am trying to keep things pretty flexible regarding dates and places for my trip in december (starting on the 1st from london – ending early january, back in the uk again – see travel friends) i was hoping to spend christmas in prague.

my main concern though is that i`ll end up eating a cold turkey sandwich at the train station after discoveing that all of the hostels have shut down and that theres nothing to do or see.

is this a realistic worry or are there any other people who plan to be around this area for the festivities. i am not dead set on being in prague for xmas but due to the direction of the trip i`m hoping to take this is the sort of area that i hope to find myself in before deciding on somewhere for new years eve.

also will it be neccasery to have accommodation pre-booked for the whole time around christmas and the new year as once again i don`t want to end up stuck ?

hopefully i`ll have more definate plans organised soon and i will post them here for your experienced perusual…

cheers in advance
