Hello folks,

I live in Ireland and am planning a trip into europe this summer. I am checking out rail tickets etc. at the moment. Interrail tickets in this country and online are cheaper for people under the age of 26. Is there any reason for this? Good bad or indifferent.

I am over 26 years old and feel i am been discriminated against. If I thought they had a good reason for this i wouldn’t bother my head reporting it and just pay the extra. I don’t want to ruin it for all you young ones out there! As any investigation would probably just result with everyone been charged at the higher rate.

Does anybody know if i was in Brussels and bought a 2nd class ticket to Brugges would i be charged more for it than an under 26. Is 26 the age of majourity in INTERRAIL WORLD?
